IT Governance partners with Boldon James to host an event on the transition to ISO 27001:2013

IT Governance Ltd, the global leader in ISO 27001 expertise, has announced that it will host a workshop in the UK on ISO 27001:2013 standard in association with Boldon James.

The event called The transition to ISO27001:2013 – Preparing for the Change will take place on Wednesday 23rd October 2013 in the QinetiQ, EMEA Regional Office Farnborough, Hampshire.

This event will give delegates the opportunity to find out what the differences are between the ISO 27001:2005 standard and the new ISO 27001:2013 standard – plus, how the changes will impact their organisation.

Alan Calder, Founder and Executive Chairman of IT Governance, says: “This is one of the first events in the UK to focus on the transition to ISO 27001:2013 and which provides delegates with valuable information on the certification pathways that are available to them.

Anyone with interest in ISO 27001 certification should be taking advantage of this unique opportunity to obtain information ahead of everyone else.”

The event will include a talk and 60-minute workshop by Alan
Calder on how to mitigate information security risk by using ISO 27001:2013.

This event would be of considerable benefit to:

  • Those currently certified against ISO27001:2005
  • Those looking to transition to ISO27001:2013
  • Those wanting to learn about the new ISO27001:2013 standard
  • Those considering implementing an information security management system (ISMS)
  • Those interested in information security risk management
