The team from Alconbury Weald will be gathering acorns and other tree seeds as they explore Monks Wood. Families are welcome.
The seeds collected will be grown on at Alconbury Weald Tree Nursery, to provide local provenance trees for future woodland and green spaces on the former airfield. Some of the seeds will be grown on the Huntingdonshire Community Nursery, to supply trees for free for public and community spaces across the district.
