As an interim measure Keir has taken a five year lease on the last remaining office space in the Park: the refurbished first floor suite of Building 7400 and the first floor of the adjacent Building 7300, comprising a total of 11,900 sq.ft
Kier’s move is the first stage of a plan to strengthen the company’s presence in the East of England, and one that reinforces the strategic and business advantages of the Park.
Dominic Moore of Mountgrange, the Park’s owners comments: “We hope that Cambridge Research Park will act as a superb home for Kier, who are an excellent addition to the scheme. Now that we are at full capacity we are investigating options for provision of further building within the 26 acres. We already have outline consent for 505,000 sq.ft. of B1, B2, B8 and office accommodation”.
Cambridge Research Park is also home to other top name occupiers including Horizon, the drug discovery company, and Wates Construction, for whom it is also an East Anglia headquarters.
The Park’s excellent facilities include its own on-site conference centre and café bar set in 12 acres of landscaped grounds and feature lakes. In addition it benefits from fast road/rail connections to Cambridge City Centre, Stansted Airport and Central London, and generous on-site parking.
