This year's A Level cohort achieved 12% A* grades, 39% A*–A grades and an impressive 89% A*- C grades. Twenty pupils achieved at least three A grades, including 10 who secured at least two As, while four pupils achieved three or more A*s.

For the Class of 2026, today's results are the beginning of exciting new journeys. Pupils will be progressing to a wide range of destinations that reflect both their academic strengths and personal ambitions.
This year’s leavers are progressing to an impressive range of highly competitive universities, degree apprenticeships and careers. Oxford and Cambridge destinations include Chemistry at the University of Oxford and History at the University of Cambridge, alongside Medicine at University College London (UCL), Finance at Durham University and Music at King’s College London.
Other destinations span a wide range of sought-after courses and leading universities, including History with Innovation at the University of Bristol, Law at the University of Leeds, Conservation Biology & Ecology at the University of Exeter, Biology at the University of York, Politics & International Relations at Loughborough University, Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham and Mathematics at Newcastle University.
Beyond university, pupils have also secured prestigious degree apprenticeships with major global employers, including BAE Systems in Naval Architecture & Weights Engineering and Honeywell Electronics in Electromechanical Engineering, while others are beginning exciting careers with the Royal Air Force.
