If your company is considering a new venture, developing a new product, treatment or technology, expanding into a new market or would like assistance in developing a business or financial plan, and could benefit from some analysis from a bright and resourceful team of students, the school would like to hear from you.
The Management Studies Tripos (MST) Project attracts outstanding Cambridge University undergraduates, who come from a variety of disciplines to gain a thorough grounding in the discipline of management practice. For their final course, students are required to work in teams of three on a four-week project with a local organisation, addressing a real management problem that the host has identified, under the guidance of a University supervisor.
The aim for the students is to apply what they have learned over the year to a real management situation; the benefit for host organisations is the opportunity to have three bright and committed students focus on an issue that they might not otherwise have had the time or resources to tackle. The project takes place from 6 – 31 May 2019.
There is no fee for the work. However, project clients are asked to pay for any travelling or other incidental expenses related to the project. Students are advised not to incur any expenses without prior approval from their client.
The School welcomes proposals from organisations of all kinds, as long as the proposal is well defined.
