Developers can win a copy of the very latest guidelines on using the C language in critical systems
The Device Developers' Conference is a one-day event for developers of intelligent systems and devices, taking place in Bristol, Cambridge and Manchester later this month.
MISRA C is a set of guidelines to aid the development of safety related systems in "C" in the automotive world. Since its inception, MISRA C has been widely adopted by the embedded systems community and has become the dominant, international coding guideline for the use of "C" in critical systems. Delegates that register for this workshop will have the chance to win the free copy of the coding standard.

The UK Device Developers' Conference will bring together some of the world's leading experts in this field, to share their knowledge and experience. This event will also host a broad range of companies that provide the tools and technologies necessary for the development of leading edge technology.
The conference will include a vendor exhibition, several half-day technical workshops and a schedule of informative technical presentations. It will be free to attend for engineers, computer scientists, project managers and students in this field, although there will be a small charge for workshops.

The half-day workshops at the event will include ‘An Introduction to Advanced Debugging Techniques’, ‘An Introduction to Device Driver Development’ and ‘Getting to Grips with the MISRA C:2012 Standard’.
