Maggie’s Centre Cambridge writes:

Our centre is here to support people affected by cancer, as well as their family and friends.

Within the Addenbrooke’s Hospital grounds, our centre is a place with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

We offer an evidence based programme of free support proven to strengthen physical and emotional wellbeing. We help people to achieve the best possible state of psychological and physical health during diagnosis, treatment and throughout their cancer journey. Last year, nearly 8,000 people from across Cambridgeshire walked through our doors and since merging with Wallace Cancer Care we have supported more than 22,000 people across East Anglia.

Visitors can come to Maggie’s at any stage of their cancer journey, for as long or as little they like. We believe that the built and natural environments in which people are cared for have a direct impact on wellbeing and how a person responds to the challenge of cancer.
