Maplesoft announces the Maple Ambassador Programme

Maplesoft, a leader in software products for technical education and research, has announced the Maple Ambassador programme, designed to provide increased influence and visibility for enthusiasts of its product Maple.

An official Maple Ambassador will inspire and educate others on their own campuses, and beyond, about the benefits that Maple brings to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.

Those who are accepted into the programme will have the opportunity to influence the development of Maple through regular meetings with Maplesoft developers, and get advance news of upcoming features and products. Ambassadors will also have access to Maplesoft resources to aid in the organization of Maple events and tutorials on their campus. For those who wish it, Maple Ambassadors will be given the opportunity to showcase their own Maple-related research and teaching activities on the Maplesoft web site.

Maple Ambassadors, in turn, will help champion the product on their campus and beyond. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as by sharing their Maple experiences, answering questions about Maple on forums, arranging Maple tutorials, and sharing their work with the Maple community. They will also have many opportunities to provide product feedback to Maplesoft, for both current and upcoming products.

“Maple has many champions on campuses around the world who are already sharing their excitement with others, out of their appreciation for the product,” said Jim Cooper, President and CEO, Maplesoft. “Through the Maple Ambassador Programme they will now receive support from Maplesoft as they continue to enthusiastically share their love of Maple. The Ambassador programme will also help us find faithful and passionate Maple users that we haven’t yet had the chance to meet and thank.”
