MCS agency to build a new website for North East Suffolk Citizens Advice Bureau

MCS has been appointed to design and build a new website for the North East Suffolk Citizens Advice Bureau (NESCAB), enabling it to improve its services to needy people as well as help develop its partnerships and outreach services.

MCS, the East Anglian creative marketing agency based in Bury St Edmunds, was appointed after several agencies were invited to present ideas and plans for NESCAB’s new website. NESCAB has three advice centres in North East Suffolk – Beccles, Bungay and Lowestoft – plus outreach centres in Halesworth and Kessingland. From today  (14th October), it will be operating another outreach centre in Reydon, near Southwold.

Janet John,  Chief  Executive of NESCAB, said: “We were delighted with MCS’ ideas for our new website which will not only look better but it will work better both for our clients – those seeking help – and our staff and volunteers. We were also pleased that the thinking extended beyond the site to our partnerships. We work with other organisations that provide help to those in need, such as the councils, Access Community Trust, and DIAL, and in future we’ll be able to work more closely and efficiently with them.”

Lloyd Hancock, Creative Business Partner at MCS, said: “We really enjoyed working on this tender and are very honoured to have been appointed. The new site will be ready well before Christmas and it will take NESCAB to another level in terms of its services. When we did our research, we were surprised at the wide iterations of the CAB online across the regions of the UK. The new NESCAB site will be instantly reassuring to those who visit it and will clearly communicate the core values of this vital charity.”
