Chris will be responsible for Sales, Marketing and Business Development within the business and will contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organisation, supporting Medovate as it moves towards the launch phase of its regional anaesthesia and critical care portfolio.
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in medical device and pharmaceutical sales, marketing and commercialisation. He joins Medovate from Molnlycke where he served as Sales Director. Prior to that, Chris served as Sales Director at Performance Health International where he led sales, business development, and pricing across direct, distributor and FMCG markets.
Chris also spent more than 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry working at AstraZeneca, Organon and Schering Plough where he held positions of increasing responsibility and was recognised for excellence in performance, leadership and team development.
One of Chris' first responsibilities in his new role will be to showcase SAFIRA and Humidicare, two revolutionary technologies developed by Medovate for regional anaesthesia and airway management, at the World Airway Management Meeting (WAMM) in Amsterdam from 13th – 16th November and at MEDICA in Düsseldorf from 18th - 21st November. SAFIRA helps to prevent nerve damage during regional anaesthesia, and Humidicare is an innovative safety Heat and Moisture Exchanger (HME) to help prevent critical airway obstruction. Chris will be on hand at both events, where he will be available to meet potential commercial partners.
