Held on Tuesday 17th March 2015, the annual national conference is one of the country’s leading events and is organised by GovToday. It looks at how social housing providers and local authorities can drive down domestic carbon emissions.
Metropolitan delivers heat and energy infrastructure for new developments, including heat networks and ESCo solutions. As the main sponsor and a leading expert in its field, Metropolitan will be holding a masterclass at the conference, looking at energy and utility infrastructure as a catalyst for sustainable communities.
Through its masterclass, Metropolitan will aim to help contractors and developers to understand the options available to them and how these can work in terms of the build schedule and cost requirements. John Marsh, Director of Metropolitan says: “The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Mitigate and Adapt’. We believe that the future proofing of developments is essential to cope with the evolving requirements of homeowners and planning regulations. To provide truly sustainable solutions, we need to consider the changing needs of our communities and offer the flexibility required to allow a development to mitigate and adapt as it progresses through its build and beyond.”
The conference takes place at the prestigious Mermaid Theatre, in the City of London, on 17th March 2015.
