Morrison Utility Services appoints Provoke Me to manage their social media strategy

Morrison Utility Services knew that they needed a more comprehensive presence on social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Plus. But with neither the time, resources or skills in-house to manage them, they turned to the experts in the shape of Cambridge based agency, Provoke Me.

Morrison Utility Services is the UK's leading utility service provider. They work with clients in the Water, Gas, Electricity and Telecommunications sectors helping them renew, refurbish and maintain their infrastructure and networks.

Cambridge based design, marketing and social media agency, Provoke Me has been working with Morrison Utility Services for two years on the evolution of their website, with the latest design due to be launched early in 2015.

However, the team at Morrison were also aware of their need to have a coherent social media strategy that would help to convey something of the personality behind the brand and engage with both customers, consumers and the public at large.

Provoke Me helped to confirm what kind of content they should be posting and with what frequency, on what channels, with statistical evidence and research to support those findings.

Once agreed, the strategy was implemented by the content creators at Provoke Me, in conjunction with the marketing team in-house at Morrison Utility Services. Provoke Me says: "Working together, we produce relevent articles every day - some of which are related to specific activities taking place within the company, others are more generic and focus on industry-related news, legislation and developments.

"You can see the activity as it rolls out on www.facebook.com/morrisonutilityservices."
