In the year of coronavirus, this day of commemoration has never been more important. Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner will join thousands of people across the city at 11am to observe a minute’s silence, to remember all the health, care and other key workers who have already lost their lives to coronavirus.
Daniel Zeichner MP said: “I will stand to remember the lives of heroes who put themselves in harm’s way to keep us all safe and vital services running. It is a tragedy that some NHS, care and transport workers have already died and we must learn lessons and keep fighting for better protective equipment."
