New appointment at Bidwells enhances economics offering to clients

Bidwells, one of the UK’s leading property consultancies, is strengthening its Economics Team with a key new appointment.

Bidwells has welcomed Juliet Clark as Principal Planner to provide research, analysis and advice to clients on strategic planning and economic policy issues and produce socio-economic evidence in support of local plan promotions and planning applications. This includes undertaking demographic modelling, housing and employment needs analysis, five-year housing land supply assessments, socio-economic impact assessments and economic benefit statements.

Juliet is a Chartered Town Planner with a Masters in Town Planning and seven years professional experience gained in a range of property consultancies and planning/architecture practices, including Healey & Baker, Llewelyn-Davies and GVA Grimley.

Projects have included research and co-ordination for the Welsh Regional Airports Study, housing assessments, industrial strategy for Park Royal and recommendations for community infrastructure provision in the new settlements within Kent Thames-side.

Neil Waterson, Partner and Head of Economics at Bidwells says: “Juliet’s expertise and experience will complement our wider planning offer, helping to support our efforts to grow work in the Life Sciences and wider commercial sectors, as well as assisting with the growing number of new settlements and strategic residential projects with which we are involved.

“Our team has had an extremely busy 2017 and by appointing Juliet, we will be able to develop our service further, adding strategic value to client projects.”
