Mr Sargeant will be tasked with leading the company from the front, something which he is very familiar with, having held a number of high profile directorships. Mr Sargeant, a qualified accountant, founded Flowsave/Airstream Products in the late 90’s. When the company was later acquired by Vent-Axia, his career progressed through to the position of Group Managing Director.
Vent-Axia was later bought out by Smiths Industries Plc, where Mr Sargeant joined the board. He went on to lead a management buyout of a number of Smiths’ engineering companies by Volution Holdings, a company he formed to facilitate the acquisition. Volution Group manufactures and supplies a wide range of products such as ventilation fans and energy recovery systems. Through his advisory business Mr Sargeant also undertakes short-term consulting appointments around preparing businesses for sale.
