New co-working space available in Cambridge

Now open in the heart of Cambridge is a business hub providing home workers and other professionals with a desk to work from in a communal office space, where ideas and businesses can grow through networking, collaboration and business support.

An exciting new small business support hub for start-ups and micro businesses in th e Cambridgeshire area has opened in Burleigh Street, CB1 with  four main strings to its bow. These are:

  1. Co-working Space. A place where business owners, freelancers and other professionals can work for half day, a day, week or whatever terms suit them. Co-working is more than just a desk with WiFi and good coffee, but a chance to work collaboratively with other business owners, to share ideas and support each other for the common goal of joint business success.
  2. A number of Meeting Rooms available to hire by the hour or longer. These can be used for interviews, board meetings, Skype calls or a place for co-workers to make sensitive calls.
  3. A Training Centre with two training rooms where courses wil be delivered for the start-up market, including Social Media Marketing for Business, Business Planning, Financial Management with more in the pipeline.
  4. The fourth part of the structure includes an onsite Virtual Assistant service including a Virtual Receptionist, General Administrative support, Market Research and more.

The aim of the venture is to inspire an entrepreneurial drive, encourage engagement between businesses that may not have met organically, and to drive a sharing of skills for the common goals of success and growth.
