The specialist science college for 14 to 19 year-olds, which opens in September, has attracted a stellar cast of individuals to its governing body.
Among them are former Cambridge MP Anne Campbell, the head of finance at the Cambridgeshire NHS Foundation Trust, Philip Cave, and Cambridge Regional College principal Anne Constantine.
The Governors are responsible for the finances and management of the UTC, setting its strategic priorities and overseeing its performance.
Melanie Radford, UTC Cambridge principal, said the college had attracted a superb group of highly qualified, dedicated Governors.
“Our Governors will add a great deal to the college and help provide inspirational leadership. I’m delighted we have such strong support from the very heart of education, business and health in Cambridgeshire.”
The UTC, which will specialise in teaching biomedical science and technology, is open to applicants in Years 10 and 12.
