New supply only bi-fold door service launched by Admiral Homespace

Admiral Homespace, the region’s leading home improvement company, has launched a ‘rapid response’ Bi-Fold door supplier service aimed at self-builders.

Traditionally the company has concentrated on the ‘supply and fit’ market for bi-folding doors in aluminium and timber. With the popularity of bi-fold doors over the last couple of years, many extension builds have seen the product as a must have.

‘There are great benefits to installing these doors into an extension or new build property,’ states Steve Thorogood, Managing Director of Admiral Homespace. ‘Bi-fold doors are best suited to large expanses of glazing, from four up to as wide as eight metres, and most existing properties do not have windows or doors that wide to replace’.

Specifying folding doors for building projects enables you to decide from the outset how much brick wall you wish to replace with glazing. It is also easier to install the product yourself into a prepared opening. The threshold detail, which is important to achieve a smooth flow into the garden, can be lowered as part of the build process, whereas it normally has to be cut in to the wall or floor. Admirals in-house Surveyor can assist with specification and details.

The company offers an express delivery service throughout the UK with doors supplied within two to three weeks of order in most cases. Its Easifold Door Range is available in both timber and aluminium and can be literally painted any colour as this recent swimming pool installation in blue demonstrates.

The products are on display at the Alconbury Showroom and a ‘Buyers Guide’ for bi-fold doors is available via e mail or post. Two websites demonstrate the products via a gallery and Bi-fold configurator that helps clients to choose how many moving panels are suited to their requirements.
