Who will provide the Training?
Each day will have three presenters. In addition to Jane List, Extract Information and Stuart Newbold, Patent Search and Information Management, we will have Gary Townley from the UK Intellectual Property Office present on March 22nd, and we have Minesoft, developers of the Patbase database and other patent information products present on March 23rd. You don’t have to be a Patbase user as training will be vendor neutral, we will of course use Patbase for the practical sessions.
Who should attend?
Both days are suitable for those with some experience or knowledge of IP, patents, R&D, or Intellectual Asset management, and who would like to learn more. Those working in any technology development company, or research based organisation could benefit from understanding how to interpret patents and IP professionals need to strategically manage them, and should also find something of interest. We will be able to adapt the content according to attendees’ needs and experience, as numbers will be limited.
