Non-executive director announces retirement

Howard Group’s non-executive director Andrew Slipper has announced his retirement from the board of Howard Investment Company Limited.

Andrew has been associated with the Howard Group for many years and will step down from the board at the end of March. He was introduced to the Group back in 2001 when, operating as Vanbrugh Land, he joined forces with the Howard Group to develop Interchange Point in Newport Pagnell, MK. A little later in 2005, the Group formed Howard Teesland, a joint venture with Andrew, to develop Lascar Works in West London on behalf of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.

Throughout his 15 years associated with the Group, Andrew has served as a director on the Ventures and HPG Development Boards and more recently Investments and CAEC Howard Properties.

Patrick Bushnell, non-executive chairman at Howard Group, said: “The Board and shareholders all want to record our thanks to Andrew for his professionalism, dedication and wise counsel over the years. His considerable experience in the property arena and many contributions to the Howard Group have been quite outstanding and we will all greatly miss him.”
