Involving a range of activities for all age groups, Innovation Week is designed to make people think of creative solutions which address the city’s barriers to growth and sustainability.
Innovation Week events include:
Brainwave Innovation Workshop- 12 November
The workshop is designed to draw together a diverse group of people to think creatively about how to address city challenges. The ideas created during the workshop can then be submitted into the Brainwave Challenge Fund which offers up to £20,000 to turn ideas into reality.
Smart Supper: “How do we get more people using sustainable transport?”- 14 November
School children will be given the opportunity to try and solve the city’s infrastructure challenges. At the end of the evening attendees will vote for their favourite idea and the winning pitch receives the profit from the night to invest in making their idea happen.
Open City 24 Hour Hackathon- 15 November
Peterborough’s creative and digital people are invited to come together for a 24hr Hackathon to help design content for an exciting new interactive screen that will be installed in the city centre.
