PREDICT-PD, the largest UK cross-sectional Parkinson’s study, adopts Mantal

PREDICT-PD, one of the UK’s most important Parkinson’s research initiatives, is now using the Mantal platform to expand participant reach, streamline digital assessments, and accelerate its mission to identify early markers of Parkinson’s disease.

PREDICT-PD, the largest cross-sectional Parkinson’s study in the UK, has migrated its participant-facing research operations to Mantal, strengthening its ability to collect high-quality data at scale.

Led by researchers at Queen Mary University London (WMUL), PREDICT-PD is pioneering the early detection of Parkinson’s disease by studying thousands of individuals over time. As the study continues to grow, the need for a secure, flexible, and user-friendly digital platform became essential.

Mantal provides PREDICT-PD with seamless tools for participant recruitment, consent, digital assessments, longitudinal follow-up, and secure data management—all accessible from any device.

By adopting Mantal, the PREDICT-PD team can now reach a broader and more diverse population across the UK, reducing logistical barriers and enabling faster, more efficient study operations. This transition marks a significant step in modernizing Parkinson’s research and supporting earlier detection strategies that could transform patient outcomes.
