Proposals to improve older people’s healthcare and adult community services

What do you think about integrating health and social care?

The Government has asked health and social care authorities around the country to draw up plans to integrate health and social care services better, through what is being called the Better Care Fund.  Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG have launched a public consultation inviting feedback on proposals to improve older people’s healthcare and adult community services for residents across Cambridgeshire.

The public consultation runs until 16 June 2014 and public meetings will be held at the following venues in our area:

  • 01-May: 13.00-14.30: Burgess Hall, One Leisure, Westwood Road, St Ives PE27 6WU
  • 12-May: 13.00-14.30: The Meadows Community Centre, 1 St Catherine’s Road, Cambridge CB4 3XJ
  • 30-May: 13.00-14.30: Little Shelford Memorial Hall, Church Street, Little Shelford CB22 5HG
  • 07-Jun: 10.00-12.00: Central Library, 7 Lion Yard, Cambridge CB2 3QD

The consultation document and questionnaire can be found online at www.cambridgeshireandpeterboroughccg.nhs.uk. Or request a copy by phoning 01223 725304.
