Provoke Me wins pitch to redesign Zeon Healthcare website and brand

When it came to design and build a new corporate website for Zeon Healthcare, it was logical to start by getting the foundations right – in this case, refreshing the company logo that was looking tired. The challenge for Cambridge based design agency, Provoke Me, was how to reinvigorate the brand without losing the years of goodwill and investment that had been built up in the Hummingbird device of the original logo.

In Oxfordshire, resides a small business with a huge amount of influence on the high street. You’ve probably never heard of Zeon Healthcare, but the chances are you’ll see one or more of their products in every pharmacy and supermarket in the land.

Zeon specialise in bringing products to market that help to improve people’s lives. They have established distribution channels with Boots, Superdrug, Lloyds, Morrison, Tesco and Sainsbury as well as a plethora of independent pharmacies and online retailers.

Their product range is diverse from fungal foot treatments to sun protection, cosmetics to vitamin supplements. Each product range has its own brand, and all of these brands sit within the Zeon Healthcare portfolio.

So when it came to design and build a new corporate website for Zeon, it was logical to start by getting the foundations right – in this case, refreshing the company logo that was looking tired.

The challenge for Cambridge based design agency, Provoke Me, was how to reinvigorate the brand without losing the years of goodwill and investment that had been built up in the Hummingbird device of the original logo.

Fortunately, the team thrives on a challenge and by using a slick illustrative style, coupled with very minor alterations to the typography to bring it up to date, it was able to evolve the brand into something new, without losing any of the heritage built up over the years.
