The walk on Sunday 24th June (10:45 - 12:00) is part of the Institution of Civil Engineers' (ICE’s) bicentenary celebrations. It offers a unique opportunity to take a tour with an experienced engineer and gain an insight into the significance of civil engineering and infrastructure and learn about the history of Norwich's bridges.
The two mile walk starts at Norwich Station and should take an hour to complete.
Public parking is available in Rose Lane multi-storey car park, the surface car park on Rouen Road or there is some on street parking. There are buses to the station from the city centre, service numbers 5A, 5B, 23A and 25.

The Institution of Civil Engineers is reaching a rare milestone in 2018 – a bicentenary. ICE 200 is a perfect opportunity to celebrate the institution’s longevity, recognise the profession of civil engineering and most importantly the thousands of members who make the institution what it is. ICE will use the bicentenary as opportunity to remind the general public that civil engineers transform their lives for the better and safeguard the future for their families. In doing so, the institution also hopes to encourage young people to see civil engineering as a creative, rewarding and highly enjoyable career.
