Rapsodi & PD-Frontline studies successfully migrate to Mantal

The Rapsodi and PD-Frontline Parkinson’s studies have officially migrated to Mantal, enabling researchers to consolidate study operations, improve participant engagement, and future-proof their digital research infrastructure.

Rapsodi

Two major Parkinson’s research initiatives—Rapsodi and PD-Frontline—have transitioned their study operations to the Mantal platform as part of a strategic shift toward scalable, long-term digital research.

The Rapsodi study focuses on individuals with GBA mutations, aiming to understand early biomarkers and progression patterns. PD-Frontline offers nationwide smell testing and at-home screening, helping identify individuals who may be at higher risk of developing Parkinson’s.

By moving to Mantal, both studies gain access to a unified, secure environment for participant onboarding, eConsent, surveys, at-home tasks, and study communication. Mantal’s flexible design enables the research teams to update protocols, launch new assessments, and manage large participant cohorts with significantly reduced operational overhead.

This migration also ensures long-term sustainability, allowing the Rapsodi and PD-Frontline teams to continue their important work with modern tools that support growth, accessibility, and high-quality data capture. The shift reflects a wider trend toward decentralized research models that prioritise participant convenience and scientific rigor.
