RBS collaborates to support success for Westway Services

The management team at Westway Services Ltd has received an integrated debt package from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) teams in Cambridge and London to support the existing management team and stakeholders in the next stage of business growth.

Since Westway Services established in 2001, they have become a preferred provider of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) to high profile customers in: distribution and logistics, retail, high net worth, commercial, residential and the financial services sector. With a team of highly skilled engineers, Westway Services provide a full spectrum of maintenance and assessment monitoring to reduce long term costs and business disruption to their clients.

The strong management team is responsible for strategic and operational development, coupled with further strengthening the financial reporting. Managing Director, Andy Donnell has held his position since 2011 and Finance Director, Vivien Hale was brought in situ in January 2010 – both have previous experience of driving business growth and delivering positive results. The company’s service offering will be enhanced by working alongside their stakeholders, Maven Capital/Mobeus Equity Partners.

To support Westway Services business strategy, Paul Marks from RBS in Cambridge has worked with Nicole de Silva from the Corporate Transactions Team and Andy Craven from RBS Invoice Finance to instrument an integrated debt package.

Andy Donnell, Managing Director at Westway Services Ltd explains, "Westway Services has a strong reputation within the HVAC industry and our blue-chip clients reflect this in repeat business year after year. By bringing the RBS team on board, this has paved the way for a full banking and debt relationship with a trusted team that has been instrumental in providing us with the capacity to move the business forward with an experienced management team in place.”

“Vivien and I are looking forward to leveraging the knowledge of our stakeholders and working out a strategy to focus on building on our current success. For our clients and employees, business as usual will be adopted.”

Nicole de Silva, Director Corporate Transactions Team at RBS, added, “Westway Services is a credible operator and an industry name we are proud to be associated with and support. I wish the management team well as they look to the future with great confidence knowing they are fully supported by their stakeholders and banking partners.”
