The RealVNC team will be demonstrating various VNC programmes with an Enterprise license and the corresponding Viewer packages that are available; allowing Spiceheads to see how both commercial and personal licenses enable users to remotely access and control their computers from another computer or mobile device, wherever they are in the world. This highly versatile technology is used by hundreds of thousands of individuals, as well as large corporations across every industry.
RealVNC will also be showcasing VNC Viewer for mobile devices; an essential application for iOS and Android that allows you to connect to, and take full control of your computer remotely from your mobile phone. VNC Viewer makes it possible to run applications, access documents and change settings on any Mac OS X, Windows, Linux or UNIX computer from your mobile device.
Alongside live demonstrations, there will be a virtual presentation illustrating the evolution of RealVNC software, and emphasising how recent VNC technology has drastically improved with the addition of new compression algorithms and encodings that previously weren’t available. The differences in connection speed, image quality and security are demonstrated.
RealVNC has been extremely active within the SpiceWorks community since joining over a year ago, hosting a number of competitions and promotions through the website. The RealVNC vendor page is a space where users can find helpful advice and ‘how to guides’ or speak to members of the RealVNC team.
