Red Gate business transformation features in radical business management conference

Cambridge-based Red Gate Software will share its experiences of a recent, radical business re-organisation at a new conference on inspirational business methods.

Spark the Change - a new event for the whole organisation - will bring together leaders from across the business to explore how they can work together to create lasting and total change. Cambridge-based Red Gate Software will share its experiences of a recent, radical business re-organisation at the event.

Red Gate's COO Gareth Marlow says: “Last Autumn, we changed Red Gate’s organisation structure. Instead of planning this in secret, we allowed our employees to decide which of the new teams they wanted to join. In an interactive session, CEO Simon Galbraith and I are going to be talking about why we did this, and how we benefited.

"We’re getting involved in Spark the Change because we don’t believe that orthodox management methods will necessarily work well for the successful organisations of the 21st Century. The agenda is fantastic – but the opportunity to meet leaders from a variety of progressive organisations will really be valuable.”

Spark the Change runs from July 3-4th in London. Tickets are available now for both or just one day.

The event features 35+ sessions on organisational transformation, innovative leadership and revolutionary employee engagement methods from speakers such as Darren Childs (UKTV), Tim Harford (FT Undercover economist), Geoff MacDonald (Unilever) & Jurgen Appelo (Management 3.0).

Cambridge-based software events specialists Software Acumen are event co-organisers and are offering Cambridge Network members a 10% promotional code: CAMNET. This is the company's first foray out of software and into more general business events.

Red Gate Software is an independent software vendor based in Cambridge, UK. Red Gate are consistently recognised as one of the UK's top employers winning awards such as Times 100 Best Companies on a regular basis.
