Amy Matthews, owner of Richmond House Beauty, gave a clear and detailed vision on what she wanted COEL to help her achieve; to dream up a destination for her customers which exudes sophisticated chic with a contemporary Soho vibe. In creating the interior design, COEL had to execute the exciting challenge to form a restful and indulgent haven with specific rooms to offer clinical cosmetic procedures.
COEL married two styles in blending a balance between the sleek, clean lines of some of the treatment rooms alongside the soft, stylish decor of other areas where customers could relax and replenish.
The design team wanted the salon to be a very immersive experience allowing the customers to feel comfortable to both relax and wander around and explore. As the salon houses a carefully curated selection of must-have products, rather than place these desirables behind a counter they are celebrated on cleverly positioned shelves. Art features elevate the walls, whilst plant and flower displays bring nature in to help frame this luxurious environment. By implementing a combination of gold finishes, high contrast colours and shapes, feature lighting, black accents, light oak and velvet fabrics the stage was now set. The result is a salon which is inviting and enticing; it has an allure of casual elegance and calm.
