The festival, produced by Creative Front, is supported by some of the biggest gaming companies in the world, matching up the next generation of technical and artistic talent from national and international universities with gaming professionals Guerrilla Cambridge, PlayStation First, ARM, Unity and Jagex.
Brains Eden has become an integral part of one of the most important and booming sectors of the Cambridge economy. The city is a hot bed for technological advancement; home to a world leading digital creative hub, with many internationally-renowned games development companies employing over 80 percent of games industry professionals.
Mark Green, Senior Producer at Guerrilla Cambridge said: “Brains Eden is a celebration of creativity; a fusion of skills, blood, sweat, and even a few tears, to turn a dream into reality in 48 hours. We love being part of that and never want to lose that passion in the games we create.”
Since conception, Brains Eden has grown in size and influence to become far more than a two day games jam. It offers students an unrivalled opportunity to come face to face with influential industry representatives, pitch their talent against peers from across the globe, be seen by scouts from top gaming studios and find future job opportunities.
The festival will culminate in an awards presentation, awarding a freelance contract to the best Brains Eden Jammer 2015 at Guerrilla Cambridge, along with prizes for Best Game and BE Mobile category.
