Riverlite completes SME Growth Challenge programme at Cambridge Judge Business School

Riverlite is proud to announce it has completed the SME Growth Challenge programme at Cambridge Judge Business School. Riverlite was one of only a handful of businesses in the region to be accepted onto this programme, designed to support SMEs in developing their management capabilities and setting them up to grow.

Riverlite is proud to have been part of the inaugural cohort of the SME Growth Challenge programme at Cambridge Judge Business School this year.

Over the past eight years, Riverlite has grown into a trusted IT provider for £1 billion worth of UK business. Its steady growth and continuing credibility brought the company to the attention of Santander, who sponsored Riverlite to attend the SME Growth Challenge programme as one of their top fast growth businesses in East Anglia.

Commenting on the recognition from Cambridge Judge Business School and the value the programme offered, Managing Director Paul Oggelsby (pictured) said: “Being accepted onto the SME Growth Challenge programme was hugely beneficial to us here at Riverlite, demonstrating just how very far the business has come in the last eight years. Thanks to the support of Cambridge Judge Business School and Santander, we are in a stronger position to manage the growth of our business - sharing the Riverlite way more widely and with continuing exceptional customer service, which is always at the heart of all we do.”

With objectives in place to scale up the business whilst continuing to deliver exceptional products and services, the support from Cambridge Judge Business School has been instrumental in helping Riverlite build a framework for delivering in each of these areas.

As part of the programme, from December 2015 to July 2016, senior members of the Riverlite management team visited Cambridge Judge Business School each month to benefit by hearing from leading speakers, assessing growth challenges and networking with other successful growing businesses.

Accountability was a big part of the programme; with all participants required to deliver back on activity and undertake presentations to demonstrate lessons learned and business commitments made based on the programme framework. Cambridge Judge Business School boasts an impressive mentoring team, who worked with Riverlite in house to further understand the framework and ethos of the business in practice.
