Our work in the housing sector has been recognised again – with not one, but two shortlisted entries for this year’s Housing Excellence Awards; for Supplier of the Year as well as in the IT System of the Year category.
The Housing Excellence Awards is known as one of the largest awards dinners in the UK housing sector, attracting 600+ key sector leaders.
In being shortlisted for the Supplier of the Year category, we’ve been able to show how we offer an accessible, secure IT infrastructure to a growing number of Housing Associations, delivered with a partnership approach. Housing sector organisations continue to call on Riverlite for their IT infrastructure support year after year thanks to our continuing expert approach to product and service delivery.
A strong IT system is critical to day to day operations – but the budgets are not always in position, nor the need great enough for a dedicated in house resource. The very framework of Riverlite was set up to offer enterprise grade infrastructure which ordinarily wouldn’t be affordable to businesses that could benefit from it. This is a pretty strong advantage to organisations in the housing sector – and a real cost saving too.
Our recognition in the IT system of the Year category comes on the back of a growing number of housing organisations seeing the benefits of transferring to a cloud based IT system to maximise efficiency, reliability and flexibility.
This approach to IT infrastructure is totally flexible – customers only pay for what they use and can rapidly scale up or down as needed. In the Housing sector specifically, this is important – as requirements and activities do change. Our Housing Excellence awards shortlisting news comes on the back of two other awards shortlisting accolades this year. Riverlite were up for Best IT System at the Housing Innovation Awards in February, in conjunction with our customer Action Housing. We were also shortlisted in the High Growth Award category at the SME Cambridgeshire Business of the Year Awards in April.
