The aim of the research at PAINOMICS laboratory is to investigate mechanistic markers of nociception and severity of pain, in peripheral and central level in patients with various chronic pain conditions. Body fluids such as blood, saliva, interstitial fluid of muscles as well as muscle biopsies and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from patients and healthy controls are analysed using omics.
