Renowned cartoonist designs original works in aid of Addenbrooke’s Abroad

Cartoonist Kenneth Mahood has generously designed and donated a series of 20 cartoons in aid of Addenbrooke’s Abroad, the Cambridge hospital’s charitable programme supporting global health activity. The works are on display in the Addenbrooke’s outpatients corridor.

Alimentum hosts preview lunch for Pink Rose Appeal

Alimentum restaurant in Cambridge has hosted a preview lunch for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust’s (ACT’s) 10th annual Pink Rose Appeal for breast cancer care. The event, held on Monday 3 June at the 1-Michelin starred restaurant, gave supporters of the appeal the opportunity to find out more about the new fundraising activities that are being launched in 2013.

Addenbrooke’s runners are an international force

Sunday March 3rd saw a truly international effort to raise funds for vital cancer care at Addenbrooke’s Hospital when a 15-person running team, set up by patient, Simon Read, participated in the Cambridge Boundary Run and two other teams took part in runs in North America. The Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) teams have raised a fantastic £5,000 so far of a £10,000 target.
