Sumptuous sandwiches, calorific cakes and a glass of pink fizz are just some of the tasty treats that will be on offer at a special fundraising tea in aid of the 2012 Pink Rose Appeal for breast cancer research and treatment. The event takes place on Thursday 4th October at 3:30pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Cambridge.
ACT steps up race to beat breast cancer
Ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, ACT (the charity for Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals) is launching the 2012 Pink Rose Appeal and inviting everyone to host a Pink Rose Party to help fund life-saving research and treatment for the UK’s most common cancer.
