Business development manager Neil Hamilton-Meikle and two colleagues took a break from growing the document storage operation in West Wratting for a 77 mile cycle across East Anglia. Confidentiality and professionalism is key to the company, which has recently secured some significant global clients based in the local market.
The trio took five hours 40 minutes to complete the course, which started at Coldham’s Common in Cambridge and finished at Earlham Park in Norwich. They are all keen cyclists and completed the London to Cambridge bike ride earlier this summer.
Neil Hamilton-Meikle said: “The ride to Norwich was very tough with 15mph head wind the whole way. The last seven miles were particularly testing with a hill climb to the finish. The punishment continued until the very end and we were very pleased so see sports massage and beer tents at the finish line! We’ve had a really busy year expanding our business so it was great to take some time out and focus on a new challenge.”

Safebox opened a new sister company, Viking Self Storage, in Bedford in the spring. In addition, it has diversified into property acquisition and developed a retail shop and ten bedsits on Mill Road, Cambridge.
