Selling Cambridge to the world - trade for investment

Jonathan Brech has been appointed Cambridge Development Director, with a mission to promote Cambridge business to the rest of the world.

Claire Ruskin, Cambridge Network's CEO, said:"We have been looking for someone to help us shape the destiny of the region and we’re delighted to announce that Jonathan has just started work with us.

"Jonathan, who is an entrepreneur and marketing specialist, is picking up the pace to encourage the right sort of trade and investment to the region.  What is the ‘right sort’?  Good question, and one that we can explain our views on – but we are interested in the views of Cambridge Network members too.

"Jonathan will be out and about meeting the people who currently get queries and visits from all around the world, and starting to bring some life to a coherent and compelling story that helps us to keep the wider Cambridge region competitive and thriving for the future.

"Businesses have enabled us to take on this promotions role, with funding from Cambridge Ahead as well as Cambridge Network, and now that we have a plan we are getting further resource to help deliver it.

"Please contact jonathan.brech@cambridgenetwork.co.uk or me if you have ideas or want to be involved."

Watch this space for an in-depth interview with Jonathan soon.
