Sensors in Food and Agriculture Conference - summary

The Sensors in Food and Agriculture conference held in Cambridge in December 2015 was very successful, based on delegate feedback. A summary of the conference presentations is available to view. Sensor technology has an increasingly important role in food and agriculture production, which was highlighted at the conference.

As at all Sensor100 organised conferences, the objective was to bring together leading academic researchers with commercial organisations.  The Programme of speakers set an exceptionally high standard, and included two discussion sessions in which a panel of speakers debated with the delegates.

The conference included an exhibition, and exhibitors were invited to make an “elevator pitch” during the conference.  A poster competition, judged by the conference delegates, was sponsored with two cash prizes by The Technology Partnership.

The conference was organised by Sensor100, supported by Cambridge Cleantech; The Technology Partnership was a commercial sponsor.
