In the boxing ring, Scott Fitzgerald, who featured in a film produced for Sport England, brought home the gold for England in the Welterweight division.
Elsewhere, a number of badminton players Somersault has worked with won medals, including husband and wife pairing Chris and Gabby Adcock winning the gold in the mixed doubles. England won five badminton medals in total and Imogen Bankier picked up a bronze for Scotland.
England’s netballers also put in an outstanding showing, narrowly losing out to both Australia in the pool stages and New Zealand in the semi final. Their last second defeat to New Zealand was heartbreaking but showed they can compete with the very best in the world.
In the marathon, England’s Amy Whitehead, who has featured in a number of Somersault produced videos, came in ninth in a time of 2.25.6.
