“We’re really pleased to see the announced Tiger bus routes are finally coming into service! We’ve been lobbying the Combined Authority to introduce these routes for over two years now, and it’s brilliant to see that work pay off.

“We’ve focussed on campaigning for the Combined Authority to improve routes for children and young people travelling to school and college, as well as inter-village connections. One of our key asks was the introduction of orbital bus routes around Cambridge City; the Combined Authority has introduced a north orbital and a south orbital route – we will continue to press for these to be connected into a single joined-up orbital bus route.

“Overall, this is a real success for South Cambridgeshire residents who will have better services connecting between villages and into Cambridge. In total, 5 out of 7 of the new bus routes connect through South Cambridgeshire’s towns and villages, an amazing result for our residents.”
