Special 50th anniversary Jazzercise session in St Ives raises over £11,000 for EACH

Over 180 people from in and around St Ives enjoyed a special mix of cardio, dance and strengthening activities to celebrate 50 years of Jazzercise last Sunday (19 January).

Tina Chasse and Dana Rowe led the fun fitness extravaganza at Burgess Hall and are “over the moon” that it raised £11,232 and counting for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Bronte Graver, EACH Cambridgeshire Community Fundraiser, said: “I was pleased to attend and take part in one of the sessions on Sunday, and it was great to see so many people enjoying such a joyful and carefree time. A massive thank you to Tina, Dana and everyone who got involved. The fantastic amount raised will pay for two days of vital care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire and West Essex, and support for their families.”

The same event has been running for years now, generating many thousands of pounds for various causes including £6,000 for EACH all the way back in 1990.
