Spirus been inspired by one of its clients, Nanna Mexico, which is doing a charitable burrito drop to a local homeless charity, Jimmy’s Night Shelter, during December.
Fay Colegate of Spirus writes; "To get involved ourselves, we are donating and starting a collection for two present boxes to go to Jimmy’s Night Shelter and to WinterComfort; both are based in Cambridge and work tirelessly for the homeless all year round. The boxes will be used to provide those who come to the charities with warm clothes, hygiene products and food.
"We are extending this to the local community who would like to contribute to our boxes so, please do spread the word and/or pop by to drop off gifts for our boxes. We are at The Maltings, High Street in Burwell and the boxes are just inside reception so easy to pop things in to us. We are asking for donations to arrive before Friday 18th December please.
"For some guidance on the sort of things they tend to want this time of year, this list may offer guidance although other gifts are welcome.
