Q: In a nutshell, can you explain what your role entails?
Kirsten Davies: We provide support and sales for STAAH’s customers within Europe. With over 6,000 happy customers globally and we look after the European business which is around 400 properties and growing fast. We visit travel shows and spend time converting inbound leads into customers. We are aiming to be one of the leading hotel and serviced apartments technology providers in the world.
Q: What is your focus and main business aims for 2018/2019
Russell Logan, Head of Sales Europe: To continue to grow our team and expand into different markets such as the USA. We have lots of new and exciting products that we will be launching this year and next. These will aim to help accommodation providers understand, control and grow their revenue online.
Q: What sets you apart from other B2B web service providers?
Russell: We have a more personable approach and like to help our customers grow their business by offering advice and guidance based upon our collective experiences. We are still in essence a family run business and love to keep our customers happy. We have the highest rated reviews for customer service vs all our competitors. We offer great products at a very affordable price with no large setup fees or hidden costs.
Q: It was recently ‘work-life balance week’, can you tell us a bit about the work culture at Staah?
Kirsten: It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here and the hours are flexible. Russell is a firm believer in working hard when you're at work but switching off at the end of the day to enjoy time with friends and family. If you are not happy at work then it’s hard to be happy at home and vice-versa. An advantage of working at incubyteSpace is the free gym membership at the onsite gym. This allows us to have a nice sauna or a workout at lunch if we need to destress!
