Studio 24 is a finalist in the Better Society Awards

Studio 24 is delighted to be shortlisted in two categories for its work with the Cambridge Film Festival.

The Better Society Awards reward commercial companies who are helping create a better, more equal, ethical and sustainable world for all.

Studio 24 has been shortlisted for its work with the Cambridge Film Festival, which is presented annually by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity. With audiences in excess of 10,000, it is one of the largest cultural events in the East of England.

Studio 24 has been a festival sponsor for 13 years.  The team says: "Not only do we provide a website and support the festival's digital strategy, but we have immersed ourselves in all things festival! Simon is a trustee, Kate is a programmer for the family strand and Ben is a reviewer for the film submissions. By partnering with the Film Festival, we feel that we can demonstrate our commitment to the cultivation of arts in Cambridge."

As Owen Baker, Marketing Manager, Cambridge Film Festival explained “The Festival’s relationship with Studio 24 is incredibly important to us, they are not only sponsors of the Festival but also an increasingly vital part of its delivery. It is no exaggeration to say that without Studio 24 and more importantly, the amazing people that make up their team, the delivery not only of the website but the Festival itself would be almost impossible.”

Studio 24 has been nominated in two categories: Pro Bono Company of the Year and Consultancy of the Year. The winners will be announced on 14th May 2020 at a ceremony in London. Fingers crossed!

Simon Jones, Managing Director, Studio 24 added "The Studio 24 team are big supporters of the Cambridge Film Festival and we are proud to have provided the website for the past 13 years. The team are fully engaged in the Cambridge Film Trust’s goals and many staff have got involved over and above our sponsorship. The festival and Studio 24 enjoy working together, with a shared passion for film and a shared vision of bringing quality independent, world cinema to the Cambridge community."
