The firm's submissions for Intellectual Property Team of the Year, Employment Team of the Year, Corporate Team of the Year and Private Wealth Team of the Year have made the final shortlist, with winners set to be announced at an awards ceremony on 25th June. The shortlisted firms have been selected by the judges as having demonstrated excellence in their work over the past year, setting themselves apart from the rest of the legal team.
In the Corporate Team of the Year category, Taylor Wessing has been recognised for making "a significant impact" in advising Tritax on the launch of its real estate investment trust, a deal which raised £200m in its IPO in December. The Lawyer said that the deal "makes serious headway in the UK's REIT market."
The Lawyer Awards, which are in their twentieth year, aim to recognise excellence in the legal profession across both private practice and public sector, commerce and industry and the Bar. Winners are decided by a judging panel made up of senior figures from City institutions and the media.
