Tees achieves three top spots in Legal 500 results 2017

Expert law firm Tees has two partners and a senior associate now on the elite “leading lawyers” list in this year's Legal 500 directory.

Tees’ Managing Director Ashton Hunt said that the results were an “excellent achievement” and highlights the firm’s dedication to recruiting and nurturing top talent.

Janine Collier (pictured), who leads the Clinical Negligence team in Cambridge, has been named as a leading individual for the first time for her “meticulous” approach. Sara Stabler, Senior Associate, and Paul Taylor, Partner, have once again been named as leading individuals in their fields of Litigation and Clinical Negligence.

In this year’s Legal 500 directory, Tees received 22 recommendations in its practice areas.

Ashton Hunt said, said: 'The Legal 500 directory is an influential reference tool to the legal sector throughout the country. Its independent, research-based rankings mean that it is trusted and used by a host of legal practitioners, including General Counsel of many of the top FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies.

“This year's results are an outstanding success for Tees. The firm has maintained its tier one ranking for the Clinical Negligence team in the face of intense competition, together with 22 recommended practice areas in total across all of our offices in the East.

“Overall, this is all a terrific reflection on the hard work of our teams and underlines increasing third-party recognition of the firm in line with our growth strategy.”

Other highlights from the survey include:

  • Two senior associates, Jonathan Insley and Ian Johnston, two associates, David Gabell and Katherine Jameson and solicitor Holly McColgan were named as leading next generation lawyers.
