Two years of successes for Salus Wellness

Salus Wellness recently celebrated its second anniversary; the complementary health centre is now a totally established business that fits well in the local community, offering a rich variety of top quality complementary health services to a broad range of members of the public.

Building a business from scratch can be challenging and, at the same time, very rewarding when results are outstanding.

In two years Salus Wellness managed to build an impressive team of 27 practitioners all with top qualifications and substantial experience: together they are offering a wide variety of complementary health services that ranges from osteopathy and sport massage to counselling and psychotherapy.

Salus Wellness was initially founded by Massimo Gaetani [centre in the picture] and Luca Senatore [right], who have a combined experience of over 50 years in Business Coaching, Marketing, Sales and Business Management.  Earlier this year a new co-director joined the management team: James Stacey brings extra customer care and business development experience and he is now the first point of contact for Salus Wellness.

All practitioners working at Salus Wellness receive hands-on coaching, consultancy and training, in areas such as sales, marketing and customer service; this allows them to grow their practice and ensure a steady flow of new clients are generated on a regular basis.

“Most of our practitioners decide to qualify in NLP, ostheopathy or massage because they either have a passion for helping people or they received a treatment that changed their life. Many of them enter the profession  without any previous experience in running a business and they soon realise the strong need of entrepreneurial spirit that is necessary to succeed,” comments Massimo Gaetani, marketing director and co-founder.

Massimo continues: “When they start their private practice they realise that clients are simply not queuing outside their door and the phone is not ringing constantly; that’s a normal but a very de-motivating way of starting up”

People who are not used to running small businesses are simply not ready or trained to deal with the new challenges and they often struggle to make a decent living for months or even years. In many occasions they give up and go back to full time occupation which, now more than ever, is not always a practical or easy thing to do.

Salus Wellness offers, apart from the newly decorated and well maintained therapy rooms and full time reception, a comprehensive range of business development and practice management services for all practitioners working at their premises; this increases the chances for everybody’s success and creates the win-win-win situation which Salus Wellness is known for.
