Understand new insights in veterinary oncology with Avacta Animal Health

Avacta Animal Health invites members of the veterinary profession to join a free CPD seminar on the latest advances in veterinary oncology at the Thorp Park Hotel, Leeds, at 7pm on October 28th.

 

Entitled Understanding new insights into veterinary oncology to help advance your practice, this free lecture will be delivered by renowned veterinary oncologists Dr Carolyn J Henry and Dr Jeff Bryan, and will provide an informative and interactive look at recent developments in the field, as well as practical recommendations that you can apply to the care of your companion animal patients.

Dr Carolyn J Henry is professor of oncology with dual appointments at the College of Veterinary Medicine and the School of Medicine at the University of Missouri. She is past president of both the Veterinary Cancer Society and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialty of Oncology, and is a member of the European Society of Veterinary Oncology.

Dr Jeff Bryan is associate professor of oncology, director of the Comparative Oncology Laboratory and section chief for oncology at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri. He is the current president of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialty of Oncology, and his research focuses on the epigenetics of cancer.
