US Head of Trade & Investment in New England to visit Cambridge

The United States (US) is the largest, most competitive and technologically advanced economy in the world. As the UK’s top export destination, it has already proven to be a lucrative market and the Department for International Trade (DIT) wants to help you take advantage of the food and drink export opportunities available there.

Kirsten Chambers, Consul and Head of Trade & Investment in New England will be visiting Cambridge on Tuesday 4th September to speak to East of England businesses in a series of workshops relating to retail, food and drink and life sciences.

This is an exclusive chance for businesses that are already exporting to expand their export portfolio into the US and hear from a number of experts with knowledge of the market. The speakers will be able to advise on how to develop your export strategy in order to be successful in the region.

The events will take place on board the Department for International Trade’s state of the art Export Hub and there will be initial presentations from our speakers, followed by a round table session. This will give you the opportunity to discuss your past export experiences, air any concerns and ask the speakers and fellow delegate’s questions.
